Vacuum furnace: how to calibrate the cooling system

For a proper operation of the cooling system, a water flow calibration is critical. This means that the vacuum furnace needs a cooling system that can cool the various sectors of the furnace with an adequate water flow. So, a correct calibration of the cooling system is crucial to prevent, for instance, an excessively high water temperature which may damage the furnace by causing the elastomeric seals to collapse.

In this video, I'm going to show you how to calibrate the water flow control valve not only to avoid damage to vacuum furnaces. Remember that, a correct calibration of the water flow ensures greater efficiency of the cooling system and a significant savings in terms of energy consumption of vacuum pumps and the water used.
